Lineup text messages (SMS): how to opt in

Lineup only texts people who have asked it to, and asking is something you do yourself. Your organizer cannot sign you up.

How to opt in

Your organizer gives you their group's Lineup number. Text IN to it. You get one confirmation text back, and you are on that organizer's list. Later, IN and OUT are also how you answer a game invitation: IN takes a seat, OUT passes.

Who is texting you

Lineup, a text-message service operated by Accuio LLC dba Lineup. Every message is written and sent by Lineup's software from the number assigned to your organizer's group. Your organizer's program name appears in the message so you know which group it is about. Organizers cannot write messages or text anyone who has not opted in.

What you will get

Game invitations, a reminder if you have not replied, seat confirmations, the final lineup, a notice if a game is called off, and, if your organizer has it turned on, a calendar invitation by email.

The confirmation you will get

Lineup (Accuio LLC): You're on [Organizer]'s list for game texts: invitations, reminders, confirmations and lineups. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

What it looks like

1 · The organizer's share text, sent from their own phone
2 · The member texts
3 · The confirmation reply

If you were not given a number, you have not been signed up for anything, and there is nothing to opt out of. This page does not collect phone numbers.
